"Software has become the lifeblood for so many facets of our lives and yet building the user experience all too often remains an afterthought. As companies like Apple have demonstrated, the best products start with the user's perspective in mind," said Dr. Don Norman, co-founder of the Nielsen Norman Group, an executive consulting firm that helps companies produce human-centered products and services. "ConveyUX is a unique conference as it brings together some of the brightest minds from across the UX landscape who for three days will challenge old assumptions and breathe new life into the practice of UX. I am truly honored to have been invited to give the keynote address to this dynamic group of professionals."
The ConveyUX conference is supported by many organizations. Participating in-person with exhibits will be UserZoom, adaQuest, and Usertesting.com. Sponsors include O'Reilly, ITR, HCDE, and WTIA. If you are interested in being a sponsor, contact Joe Welinske firstname.lastname@example.org.
ConveyUX is designed to bring a moderately priced educational, networking, and social event to both novice and advanced user experience practitioners. The focus is on user research and content strategy. The event is brought to you by Blink Interactive -- a UX research and design firm. Blink plans to offer this event each year in Seattle to highlight our great community of local practitioners as well as bringing experts from other parts of the world to the Pacific Northwest.
