FRESNO, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- To accommodate its steady growth, Fresno-based BCT Consulting, Inc. (Business Computer Technology) has acquired Sigma Communications, located in the Silicon Valley for an undisclosed amount.
BCT Consulting was founded in 1996 by its President, Eric Rawn, a Fresno State University and Craig School of Business graduate. Rawn is among the nation's top entrepreneurial leaders and has been previously ranked as one of the top 40 under 40 successful individuals in California's Central Valley.
"We're very proud to announce the acquisition of Sigma Communications," said Rawn, who over the past several years has implemented technology-based cost-saving, highly innovative solutions for small to medium sized organizations. "This acquisition will help further grow our presence in the Bay Area and East Coast and will also allow us to expand our telecommunications infrastructure for increased reliability and redundancy by allowing our backbone to expand outside of California."
"We have a long-established reputation for adapting our business model to best meet client needs in economically challenging times," added Rawn, "which has enabled us to set ourselves apart from the competition."
Rawn noted that customers moving over into BCT's network will experience increased features and options never before seen in the telecommunications industry, including state-of-the-art conference calling solutions.
"As we expand, it allows us to provide increased superior service while being able to lower our costs and increase our network at the same time," said Rawn.
BCT provides full turnkey, state-of-the-art business phone systems and VoIP Service to thousands of customers throughout North America, in addition to Network and Computer Support, Website Design and Hosted Cloud Services.
