SAN JOSE, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Playnery, a top-tier development studio for high-end quality games and cross-platform game engine technology, today announced that the company has closed its series B round of financing led by JAFCO Asia, one of the largest VC firms in Japan. Prior to this, the company has raised $3.8 million in Series A funding from Softbank Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures and Stonebridge Capital.
Playnery has also recently partnered with an online gaming giant to publish its first game Mother of Myth on mobile platforms in Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China.
