CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nara Logics, Inc., a computational neuroscience company that provides personalization to deep Web data, today announced the appointment of Kristin Pados to its executive team. Pados will be joining the company at its Cambridge, Mass. headquarters as Senior Vice President, Product and General Manager.
Bringing more than 15 years of experience in digital product management, marketing and business development, Pados will be responsible for developing Nara into a leading consumer technology brand and web personalization provider. In her new role at Nara, Pados will lead development of the company’s consumer-facing platform, including its current restaurant and hotel recommendation products, and oversee the expansion of Nara’s platform into additional lifestyle categories and international markets.
“Web personalization is just beginning to revolutionize the online experience,” said Kristin Pados, SVP of Product and General Manager at Nara Logics, Inc. “I am excited to join the team at Nara and help further the company’s mission to change the way we search. Not only does Nara have terrific products, but there is an amazing group of talent here who bring passion to their jobs every single day. I look forward to working with such a dynamic team to help the company strategically expand into new and exciting areas.”
Before joining Nara, Pados spent more than six years at TripAdvisor, having joined in 2006 as one of its first product managers. There she served as product lead for TripAdvisor Hotels where she spearheaded the development of numerous features and functionality that led to significant improvement in site monetization and user engagement. Pados later served as General Manager for one of TripAdvisor’s European-targeted acquisitions, a role that moved her overseas to the company’s London office.
Earlier in her career, Pados spent four years at New York Times Digital where she worked across product management, strategic planning, and business development. In these roles she devised and executed an overhaul of NYTimes.com content distribution strategy, provided analysis on lines of business and identified partnership opportunities. Pados also brings relevant experience from her work on the Consumer Apps product marketing team at Apple, and as a Research Associate at Jupiter Research in the late 1990’s where she helped companies understand the opportunities posed by the advancement of the Internet.
“Over the last decade, Kristin has delivered strategic business and digital product management to some of the most respected brands in the world,” said Thomas Copeman, CEO of Nara. “Her ability to drive product development and marketing strategy makes her an invaluable asset to Nara as we plan for rapid expansion in 2014 and beyond.
