ANDOVER, Mass. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Environmental Science and Technologies (EST) today announced its recent acquisition of OMNI-Ajax, a developer and manufacturer of proprietary spill control products for the hazardous and biohazardous markets. The OMNI-Ajax business is being operated through EST’s wholly-owned subsidiary SorbTech Manufacturing, Inc.
The OMNI-Ajax acquisition builds on EST’s vision of bringing clean environmental technologies to market. SorbaSolv™, a patented, cellulose based oil absorbent was developed with recycled cellulose fibers—an example of OMNI-Ajax’s expertise in clean tech.
