ROCKVILLE, Md. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Creative Computing Solutions, Inc. (CCSi) announced today that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) awarded the company an Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) II contract on the Unrestricted Track, in Functional Category 2 (FC2), Information Technology (IT) Program Support Services.
The company supported the predecessor EAGLE contract and is committed to supporting DHS’ procurement reforms and IT infrastructure goals. It is anticipated that EAGLE II will feature more agile processes, program and contract efficiencies, policies and language to accommodate advanced and emerging technologies that enable 21st century government.
“We are pleased to remain on one of the DHS’ strategic platforms for consolidating IT infrastructure and maximizing department collaboration and efficiency,” said Dr. Naren Bewtra, CCSi’s president. “In an era of streamlined IT acquisition processes, CCSi has shown time and again that the services we offer stand up against the toughest competition in the industry and are able to fully support our customer’s mission.”
Under the terms of the contract, which has a base performance period of five-years and a two-year option, CCSi will compete to fulfill task orders, in a prime role, under EAGLE II’s FC2 vehicle. Specifically, CCSi will build on its existing cyber security, biometric, and program management work within DHS.
“Since its inception, CCSi has partnered with DHS and therefore has a lot of intellectual capital that will benefit the Department,” said Suzanne Petrie Liscouski, CCSi’s vice president for Homeland Security. “Over the past seven years, our organizations have worked together and matured to support a common vision.” In regard to being positioned in the full and open category on EAGLE II, Liscouski feels, “It’s gratifying as we will leverage our unique perspective to build new partnerships with niche businesses in order to fully support the Department and its components.”
