This event will now be held on Jan. 29, 2014.
Sworn in on December 20(th), 2013, as the 23(rd) Secretary of the Air Force, Ms. James' responsibilities include the organizing, training, equipping, and providing for the welfare of the Air Force's Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, and Civilian Airmen and their families. The Mitchell Institute is an affiliate of the Air Force Association (AFA). AFA's Air Force Breakfast Program is a monthly series that provides a venue for senior Air Force and Department of Defense leaders to communicate directly with the public and the press. Past speakers include Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Mark A. Welsh; Under Secretary of the Air Force Eric Fanning; and Dr. Mica Endsley, Chief Scientist of the Air Force.
This breakfast was originally scheduled for Jan. 22, but now has been rescheduled to Jan. 29. The breakfast will be held in the same location, at the Sheraton Pentagon City, and will still start at 7:30 a.m.
