SAN FRANCISCO -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Discovia, a leading global provider of eDiscovery services to corporations and law firms, has hired former Perkins Coie Director of eDiscovery Paige Hunt Wojcik as vice president of business development. She has 15 years of legal technology and organizational development experience, and has worked with legal teams around the world on large, complex litigation matters and second requests. In her business development role, she will work closely with Discovia’s sales team to continue its global expansion and with senior management to develop and implement strategies for competitive advantage.
“Paige has lived and breathed the eDiscovery process from various perspectives – particularly with two internationally-recognized AmLaw 100 law firms. It’s this real-world experience that makes her such a winning addition to our organization, especially as Discovia continues to build its global business. We feel very fortunate to have someone with her experience, expertise and reputation join our leadership team,” said Discovia CEO Christian Lawrence.
Before joining Discovia, Hunt Wojcik was director of eDiscovery services at Perkins Coie LLP, where she worked with legal teams, in-house counsel, corporate IT personnel and service providers internationally. She also led the firm's Practice Technology Services department, Discovery Center, and litigation paralegal training program. Prior to Perkins Coie, Hunt Wojcik was the assistant director of practice support at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, where the litigation support team grew from seven to more than fifty professionals during her tenure. The rapid growth of the organization provided her the opportunity to lead several teams and strategic initiatives.
“I personally experienced the value of partnering with Discovia as a client for the past two years,” said Hunt Wojcik. “Forging deep partnerships with strategic providers is the most effective way to address discovery. I am thrilled to join the Discovia team."
A frequent speaker on information management, eDiscovery and other litigation support issues, Hunt Wojcik actively participates in several industry organizations – including International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and Women in eDiscovery. She also serves as an adjunct professor for Bryan University's graduate certificate in eDiscovery and was awarded ILTA's Litigation and Practice Support Distinguished Peer Award in 2012. Hunt Wojcik earned a BA in political science from Arizona State University.
