PALO ALTO, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Pluribus Networks, the company that brings together compute, network and storage into a single platform closer to network applications, announced today that it has appointed networking industry veteran David Ginsburg as chief marketing officer. Ginsburg has more than 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry, with a focus on the networking and communication space.
As the first marketing executive of the newly launched startup, Ginsburg is responsible for corporate communications, product management and partner development. Before Pluribus, he was CMO and SVP of Product Line Management at Extreme Networks. Other executive roles included vice president of marketing positions at InnoPath Software, Riverstone Networks/Lucent Technologies, Allegro Networks and Shasta/Nortel Networks.
“We are pleased to have Dave join our fast-growing company,” said Kumar Srikantan, Pluribus Networks CEO. “Dave brings a tremendous amount of depth and breadth of experience in the networking space. His expertise and industry connections will play a critical role in helping Pluribus establish a leadership role in the converged infrastructure space.”
“When I first talked to Pluribus, I was very impressed not only with the innovation that their technology brings to a quickly evolving industry, but also with a uniquely differentiated offering that has already been deployed in some of the most complex customer environments around the world,” said David Ginsburg. “Years of engineering work went into this, resulting in deep and not easily duplicated intellectual property, and it is rewarding to see the positive reaction they are getting from customers and partners. I am looking forward to being part of the rapid growth that this company is seeing.”
