Reverb Unveils Collections Feature for Discovery App

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Reverb Technologies, maker of the Reverb digital discovery tool, today announced a new collections feature for its iPad app. The new function gives readers greater control to collect, discover and share content within the app to create a more personalized reading experience.

What sets this tool apart is the integration of Reverb’s recommendation engine, which suggests relevant articles to help readers easily build each collection.”

Reverb’s digital discovery tool is built upon a unique set of technologies that understands words, including entirely new words, and extracts ideas and meaning from text. It can determine that an article is about a specific topic even if the article does not contain an exact keyword or phrase. Reverb instantly responds to what users read – and what they don’t – to understand their interests and help them discover new things.

When users discover an article or topic of interest, they can tap an icon to name and create a new collection. Once in place, Reverb’s recommendation engine suggests relevant content to help readers discover new articles and related topics, grow the collection and deepen their knowledge of the topic. Users can share their personal collections with friends via email, Twitter or Facebook.
