SAN CARLOS, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SA Photonics announced today that Ben Mall, former Director of Federal Business Development at Sensics Inc., will join SA Photonics as Business Development Manager, Vision Products, effective immediately. Ben will lead SA Photonics’ efforts to transition its innovative vision products, including wide field of view augmented reality displays and the world’s highest resolution direct view display, to customers in both military and commercial markets.

Ben has over 30 years in business development for companies including CAI Recon Optical Inc., Kaiser Electro Optics (KEO), Rockwell Collins Optronics (RCO), Creative Display Systems (CDS), Intevac Vision Systems (IVS) and Sensics, where he was responsible for maintaining and developing new customer business for commercial, medical, and military hardware systems. Ben’s focus has been on identifying and developing enabling solutions via targeted assessments of customer requirements and acquiring new customers for the development of novel near-eye displays, helmet mounted displays and emulated military equipment for the training and simulation marketplace. Ben holds a MSEE degree from the University of Illinois.
