HILLSBORO, Ore. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The U.S. Navy has recertified Eid Passport, Inc., one of the nation’s leading high-assurance identity management solution providers, as an approved commercial credentialing source (CCS) under the Navy Commercial Access Control System (NCACS). The Navy’s certification means that Eid Passport and the RAPIDGate® Program meet the NCACS program’s strict security and access control rules for credentialing vendors, suppliers, service providers and other non-military personnel who seek access to Navy facilities to conduct official business.
The NCACS program is administered on behalf of the Navy by the Commander, Navy Installations Command, Antiterrorism Program Management Office, and is designed to enhance security at Navy facilities, enclaves and installations. Only companies in full conformity with the U.S. Government, Department of Defense and Navy security and technical standards may be certified to provide credentialing for NCACS.
“We are proud of the important work we do for the Navy to strengthen security at their many facilities,” said Eid Passport Chairman and CEO Steve Larson. “This designation validates that our high standards of identity assurance, including credentialing, are military-grade and comply with the Navy’s stringent certification process.”
In March, Eid Passport announced a new contract with the Navy further integrating its RAPIDGate technology into NCACS, resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness for the Navy. Eid Passport also recently launched its RAPIDGate-Premier™ Program, which features high-assurance Personal Identity Verification-Interoperable (PIV-I) credentials.
