Jeremy Gilbertson and Gwen Hughes Named to Georgia Music Partners Board of Directors

ATLANTA -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Georgia Music Partners (GMP), the advocacy arm of The Recording Academy® Atlanta Chapter named Jeremy Gilbertson and Gwen Hughes to the board of directors. Gilbertson is the new executive director, replacing Mala Sharma who was elected to serve as co-president with Tammy Hurt. Hughes is the new corporate secretary for the organization. GMP advocates the promotion of music in business and related music technology in the state of Georgia.

Gilbertson is the co-founder of Tunewelders, a company that creates custom music and sound production for the advertising and entertainment industries (see http://www.tunewelders.com). Operating out of the legendary Southern Tracks Studios in Atlanta, Tunewelders recently reopened the facility to artists, engineers and producers for their recording projects as well.

Hughes owns Redwarbler Music that provides music for film and TV; is a renowned performer and touring artist; and serves in a leadership position at The Recording Academy, Atlanta Chapter (see http://www.gwenhughes.com).
