STG Appoints Eric Wieman General Manager

RESTON, Va. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- STG, Inc. (STG) today announced the appointment of Eric Wieman to serve as General Manager of the Systems Design and Development Sector (SDDS).

As General Manager of the SDDS, Mr. Wieman oversees the Software & Systems Development, Financial Services, and Consulting & Technical Services Groups. Together, these organizations provide the full spectrum of software and systems design, development, and operations to a variety of Federal agencies. The capabilities of this group include program management; enterprise architecture design; business process reengineering; data analysis; test and evaluation support; enterprise help desk operations; linguistics; enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations; and financial management.

“Mr. Wieman has expertise in leading large systems integration and information technology (IT) programs, services contracts, and personnel in civil, aerospace, and defense-aligned organizations,” said STG Chief Operating Officer (COO) Tom Anderson. “We are excited to bring on someone of his caliber with a proven track record of providing complex technical services, simulations, software, and training systems programs on time and under budget.”

Before joining STG, Mr. Wieman was the Director of Operations for Accelera Solutions. In this capacity, Mr. Wieman was responsible for all aspects of service delivery to Federal and commercial customers. Prior to that, Mr. Wieman was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the $305 million-per-year Dell Services’ Federal Government’s Civilian Division that provided science, engineering, and IT services to Federal and civilian customers.
