CHICAGO -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) (http://www.groupon.com) has randomly picked the U.S. winner of the Groupon sweepstakes with Make It Right, the organization founded by Brad Pitt to build environmentally-friendly homes for people in need. The winner from the U.S., Krisha Mason, and a guest will join the previously announced winners, Sarah Gilbertson, and her guest from the United Kingdom and Nadine Riecke and her guest from Germany, at the Make It Right Gala in New Orleans on May 17. The prize includes hotel accommodations, tickets to the Make It Right Gala, tickets to the after party, a tour of a Make It Right home with an award-winning architect, private ground transportation and a chance to meet Brad Pitt.
The Groupon campaign and sweepstakes launched April 16 and raised nearly $350,000 for Make It Right, including a $100,000 donation from Groupon. The sweepstakes winners were randomly chosen among the entries, which totalled more than 100,000 worldwide.

The Gala also features a cocktail hour, three-course dinner prepared by the city’s finest chefs, including Susan Spicer and Donald Link, local jazz musicians, gift bags and more.
