The announcement was made at the American Telemedicine Association conference on May 19th in Baltimore, Maryland.

The upgrade is being released at a time when consumers are actively shopping for high quality solutions that make sense in their new world of high deductible health plans (HDHP’s), exchanges and insurance requirements as a result of the Affordable Care Act. A recent report by PricewaterhouseCoopers examined the new health care consumer and found that 82 percent of consumers are ready to receive care in new ways, including telemedicine.
