The Stryker Education Channel launched to the public on March 26, 2013. The site http://educationchannel.stryker.com/ can be accessed from the Stryker.com Education & Training area and contains more than two dozens pieces of surgical video and didactic presentations from key opinion leaders focusing on the use of Stryker Endoscopic technology in the specialty areas of OB/GYN, Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Colorectal. Through a steady series of Audience Generation Campaigns and Physician Targeted Email Campaigns directed by BroadcastMed, the channel traffic has remained consistent with a total of 43,244 Unique Entrances to the Channel since inception. Of that total number of site Entrances, the Stryker Education Calendar, which contains listings of more than 150 Professional Education and Training Opportunities, Association Meetings and Skills Courses, covering over 20 Surgical and Clinical Specialty areas, has accounted for 11,500 Unique Pageviews.
The greatest amount of qualitative data for the Education Channel can be extracted from the registration database. The individual data contains name, email address, city, state, country, zip/postal code, hospital affiliation, area of interest/specialty, “describe yourself” (physician, PA, nurse, allied healthcare professional, student, patient, other), and an Opt-In for determining if viewers would like to receive more information from Stryker.
