SALT LAKE CITY -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Needle announced today that, after more than 4 years at eBay Inc., Amy Heidersbach has joined the company as its SVP, Chief Marketing Officer.
Amy is a seasoned B2C and B2B marketer, with more than 20 years of client and agency-side experience. While at eBay Inc., she led a variety of consumer, developer, partner and merchant marketing teams – most recently as the Head of Marketing for PayPal’s $12.5B Enterprise & Retail Solutions business unit. In between leadership roles at Paypal, Heidersbach was selected as a founding executive team member for eBay Inc.’s new platform division, then named X.commerce. Following the acquisition of Magento, she unified the X.commerce and Magento marketing teams to drive global acquisition and engagement for eBay Inc.’s commerce platform services.

Prior to eBay Inc., Heidersbach spent five years at Visa in two leadership roles. As the VP of Product and Merchant Marketing, she reinvented go-to-market strategies for Visa’s full suite of consumer and business products while deepening co-marketing partnerships with North America’s largest and well-known consumer brands such as Starbucks, Burger King, Nordstrom, United Airlines, The Gap, and others. She also led the Consumer Credit Consulting team; she created and delivered value-added insights and growth strategies for the company’s credit issuers and partners using Visa’s global transaction database.
