MINNEAPOLIS -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Hardware.com, a global leader in delivering IT infrastructure, solutions and services, today announced that Michelle Rust, vendor and marketing specialist, has been named to the CRN 2014 Women of the Channel list and has been recognized as one of this year’s inaugural Power 50 Solution Providers.

The annual Women of the Channel list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the information technology (IT) channel. The Power 50 honors an elite subset of female executives at solution provider organizations who are extending their respective company's sphere of influence as trusted advisers.

Working closely with vendor and distribution partners and sales teams, Rust develops integrated marketing strategies that effectively increase visibility and foster positive relationships with Hardware.com’s leading partners.

“We are pleased to have a team member from Hardware.com named to the 2014 Women of the Channel list,” said Jesse Johnson, Senior Vice President of Hardware.com in North America. “Since joining Hardware.com, Michelle has proven to be a valuable member of our team. Her ability to effectively promote our brand and develop strong partner relationships has been essential to our growth.”

“We are seeing a steady increase in the number of female executives making their mark in the solution provider community,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “The new Power 50 list shines a spotlight on both their contributions as individuals and the importance of the solution provider role in the success of their clients. We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success.”
