MVNO CREDO Mobile Extends Billing & OSS Relationship with IDI Billing Solutions, Adds Long Distance Base

VICTOR, N.Y. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- IDI Billing Solutions, leading developer of billing, rating, order management, workflow and selling solutions for the communications industry, announces that Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) CREDO Mobile has extended its contract and moved its long distance subscriber base to IDI’s CostGuard® billing and OSS application.

CREDO, a subsidiary of Working Assets, provides mobile, credit card and long distance services and turns everyday activities like talking on the phone into progressive acts by providing a conduit for donations and giving its customers the opportunity to speak out on public issues. Established in 1985, CREDO donates one percent of its members’ phone charges to nonprofit enterprises and has raised and distributed more than $76 million to date.

CREDO Mobile has a nationwide service footprint and offers a full line of the latest smart phones and devices for both business and consumer customers. CREDO Mobile depends on CostGuard to manage back office billing and OSS operations for its growing subscriber base, as well as serve as the operational core that seamlessly integrates a number of the company’s third-party partners. In addition to CREDO Mobile’s MVNO subscribers, IDI also recently converted the company’s long distance customers to CostGuard. Moving to CostGuard’s 9.07 release gives CREDO Mobile the ability to take advantage of IDI’s cloud platform, receiving continuous feature updates and leveraging the solution’s open APIs for integration.
