Wakingup Media's GLOW Enters Final Week of Funding, Introduces Children's Book to Campaign

LOS ANGELES, June 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Independent film producer Patrick Cheh introduced his feature, GLOW, to Kickstarter on May 28. Entering its final week of funding, GLOW has garnered over $15,000. To give the campaign a boost, Cheh and his team have added a children's book in both digital and hardcopy formats.

"We wanted to provide our backers with something more tangible because we have to go through more stages to get this made into an actual feature, and that timeline could change," said Cheh. "Adding a book gives backers the assurance that they will receive a great story with GLOW art in a timely manner, in case they are worried about the unpredictable nature of movie making."

Similar to the movie, the book will feature rich images of Aion and his friends, as they go on a journey to discover the meaning behind Aion's glowing heart and restore balance to Midaya. The story is sure to impress children, young adults, and anyone who loves entertainment with a heartwarming message.

"GLOW was inspired by life-changing events, and by the power that I realized was deep within my own heart when I just believed in it," said Cheh.
