Fundraising Software Firm Bloomerang Adds Two More Respected Industry Thought-Leaders

INDIANAPOLIS, June 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bloomerang, the revolutionary donor management software product focused on nonprofit donor retention and loyalty, is pleased to announce the addition of a new board member and a new partnership with a leading nonprofit marketing consultant.

Kivi Leroux Miller, considered to be one of the foremost authorities on digital marketing for nonprofits, has joined Bloomerang as Online Marketing Coach. Miller will play a key role in honing the email and direct mail communications tools already built in to the Bloomerang software. Author of two books, Miller teaches a weekly webinar series and writes a top-ranked blog on nonprofit communications at Thousands of nonprofits in all 50 U.S. states, across Canada, and in more than 30 countries have participated in Kivi's webinars.

In addition, Gary Rush has joined the Bloomerang board of directors.

Mr. Rush currently serves as Chief Technology Officer of Karmaloop, a Boston-based online retailer. He most recently served served as VP of Information Technology at Angie's List from 2007-2012. Prior to Angie's List, he served three years as VP of Technology and Operations at ExactTarget and nine years as CTO for Made2Manage Systems (now Consona Corporation).

During a 14-year tenure at a Micro Data Base Systems, Mr. Rush held various positions, including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Development & Consulting. He holds a B.S.E.E. (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) and an MSM (Master of Science in Management) with a focus on management information systems from Purdue University.
