Swisscom TV 2.0 uses ThinkAnalytics' personalized, multi-language recommendations and intelligent search system for live, linear TV, replay TV, as well as VOD. The Recommendations Engine is integrated into the Swisscom EPG, making it easy for subscribers to discover new content. The service is live now.
The deployment at Swisscom uses a range of recommendations techniques - including personalized 'content for you', 'most watched/rented', highest rated, category-based, related content and intelligent search - to help subscribers discover appealing content across more than 250 live channels on Swisscom TV 2.0, and in multiple languages.
The deployment also supports Swisscom's seven-day catch-up service, Replay, which lets subscribers watch programs up to seven days after they were broadcast, and the Teleclub on-demand service, which features over 6,400 films in German, French and Italian and about 5,000 live sports events per year.
