(NASDAQ: MTSN), a leading supplier of advanced process equipment used to manufacture semiconductors, has entered into agreements with ESL Elektronik GmbH ("ESL") of Germany and Ascenx Technologies, Inc. ("Ascenx") of California to refurbish and sell direct to customers certain of Mattson's legacy products. Mattson's RTP 2800 and RTP 2900 products will be supported by ESL and Mattson's Aspen II Strip product will be supported by Ascenx.
Mattson and ESL have previously enjoyed a successful partnership in the refurbishment of legacy systems, and look forward to the expansion of this partnership to provide the highest level of sales and support for the RTP 2800 and RTP 2900 series systems. Installation, warranty, and after sales support will be provided by ESL.
