VALENCIA, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Lavi Industries, a leading provider of queue management and customer flow solutions, announced today its partnership with Qmetrix, a leading provider of customer frequency technology, by acquiring a 50% share of the company through its German affiliate Via Guide Gmbh, a European provider of crowd control and public guidance solutions.
Qmetrix develops technology solutions that measure, monitor, and manage waiting lines and other areas where people move through or congregate. Its technology captures customer frequency data points such as queue time and queue length utilizing proprietary sensors that allow for the accurate counting of people. It then generates highly sophisticated, time-dependent analyses such as arrival profiles or throughput rates which can be accessed through the cloud in real-time via customer-facing display monitors, or back-room dashboards, reports and alerts.
For standing queues, the sensors are seamlessly integrated into Lavi Industries’ Beltrac stanchions, providing a quick and easy installation. Queue data is transmitted wirelessly from the built-in post sensors, which are powered via embedded batteries.
