XUVO.COM LAUNCHES SOCIAL NETWORK AND E-COMMERCE SITE FOR EDM COMMUNITY

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- XUVO®, the world's first tablet cocktail mixer specially formulated to produce a neon glowing effect in drinks, announced today that it has launched its own social networking platform and e-commerce site aimed at electronic dance music (EDM) fans. Cult XUVO, as it has been dubbed, grants members exclusive access to upcoming XUVO-branded A-List events and concerts throughout the world. Cult members will be able to connect their Twitter feeds directly to their profiles on XUVO.com as well as private message other cult members through the site. Similar to Twitter, XUVO will verify the accounts of celebrities and partners (referred to as Cult Leaders), identifying verified pages with a neon radiation symbol. Lifetime verified accounts (with an exclusive XUVO.CO short URL) are currently being offered to the first 500 members that donate $300 to the brand's Indiegogo campaign (http://xuvo.co/igg). These early adopters will receive a commemorative, individually numbered metallic certificate and their profiles featured on the founder's page at XUVO.com.

Cult XUVO sets itself apart from other social networks and establishes its music-centric driven branding by allowing DJ and musician members to easily add direct links to their Soundcloud and iTunes artist pages in their profiles. They've also included a Vine link option for the growing number of Viners using the platform for promotion and stardom.

In addition to the social networking platform, XUVO.com will contain a pop culture blog, a retail locator, and an e-commerce store. There will also be a library of recipes featuring unique XUVO energy-infused, blacklight-reactive desserts and cocktails like the No-Bake XUVO Cheesecake and XUVO Stuff, an edible slime tribute inspired by the 1985 cult classic "The Stuff". Recipes can be shared via Pinterest or printed in recipe-card format. An online ticketing platform to offer revenue-generating opportunities for XUVO partner venues is also in the works.

Due to its large content offering, XUVO was forced to switch servers earlier this week. "Our former host told us we had too much content to run efficiently even though we were on their top-tier plan, " says Wells. A native XUVO app is in development for iOS & Android devices and planned for release by fourth quarter 2014.
