Nexmo Partners with Telkomsel Indonesia to Expand Reach of Cloud-Based Mobile Messaging Solutions in Southeast Asia

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexmo, a leading cloud communication API company, today announced a strategic partnership with Telkomsel, the market leader in Indonesia's telecommunication industry, to provide cloud-based, two-way communications in the Indonesian market.

Under the partnership, Nexmo will provide enterprises and app developers in Indonesia and Southeast Asia access to Telkomsel via its advanced SMS outbound text messaging solutions. In working with Telkomsel, Nexmo is reducing the number of "hops" for customers by expanding its network of direct carrier connections. This provides better messaging quality by reducing messaging latency for customers.
