Established in 1992, the annual USAF award recognizes credit unions that provide the Air Force community superior customer service, high-quality financial products and catered support.

Furthermore, Air Force FCU has offered financial management classes to more than 4,000 military personnel as well as Wounded Warrior Project TRACK students, and helped preserve the USAF's historical contributions through its partnership with the Airman Heritage Foundation.
