RESTON, Va. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- STG, Inc. (STG) has been awarded the Department of State’s (DoS) Compensation and Financial System Services contract, which has a 5-year period of performance and a total value of $67.3 million. As the prime, STG will work closely with DoS system owners, system managers, and business owners in the operations and maintenance of more than a dozen major application systems supporting worldwide compensation and financial operations. The scope of work is in support of several key directorates and office activities including: Comptroller Global Financial Services (CGFS)/Global Financial Management Systems (GFMS) – Program Management and Analysis; CGFS/GFMS Systems Development and Maintenance (SDM) – Design, Development and Maintenance; and CGFS Charleston Operations Support for Compensation.

The systems that STG will jointly support with DoS colleagues handle day-to-day compensation and financial transactions for more than 185 DoS embassies worldwide and paying more than 85,000 State Department and serviced agency employees.
