This year's placement is an improvement from 2013's ranking at No. 16, and the second time StorageCraft has placed in the Top 10. StorageCraft was No. 10 in 2012 and No. 22 in 2011. The 2014 Fast 50 list was calculated based on five years of compound growth combined with a revenue component. StorageCraft has experienced dramatic growth since its inception in 2003, especially in the past five-year period, and its award-winning products are recognized as among the best backup and disaster solutions on the market today. The company is in the process of preparing for a 200-position expansion of its headquarters workforce with the opening of new corporate headquarters building. The 125,000 square-foot facility is under construction in Draper and is slated to open in spring 2015. StorageCraft opened its international headquarters in Cork, Ireland, in October 2013.

"StorageCraft passed the test of time and overcame challenges as it grew from a start-up into a one of the world's most trusted and successful companies in the backup and disaster recovery market," said Jeff Shreeve, StorageCraft president and chief executive officer. "The company's success is a testament to the efforts of our talented employees, reliability of our products and strong relationships with our wonderful partners. It is our goal to continue serving customers by providing them with the fastest and most reliable products possible and being a strong part of Utah's technology sector."

The Top 6 finish is the latest in a series of accolades for StorageCraft in past 12 months, some of which include a third-consecutive PC Magazine Editors' Choice Award for Best Backup software and a second-consecutive 5-Star rating in the CRN 2014 Partner Program Guide.
