Vangard Voice Systems Inc., providing professional-grade tools for fast, easy integration of speech into enterprise applications, today announced the appointment of Walt Straub as chairman of its board of directors, and Bob Bova, president and CEO of Vangard Voice Systems as a member of the board of directors. Straub was named to the Vangard Voice board of directors in March of this year and replaced Frederick McKee, who retired as board chairman. Bova was appointed to fill the open seat on the board.

Straub is former co-founder of Rainbow Technologies Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of security products that protect against software privacy, and served as president and chief executive officer from 1993 through March of 2004 when it merged with SafeNet, a global leader in information security.
