Integrien Corporation, the leader in intelligent systems management, today announced that Sunny Gupta has joined the company’s Strategic Advisory Board. As a strategic advisor, Gupta will leverage his deep experience in enterprise software product management and business development to assist Integrien in further increasing customer traction and market demand for its Alive solution in the face of growing IT and data center complexity.
Currently, Gupta serves as CEO of Apptio, Inc., an enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) company focused on optimizing IT data centers. Previously, he was the executive vice president of products at Opsware where he was responsible for all of the company’s products until its acquisition by HP Software in 2007 for over $1.6B. Before that, Gupta was the co-founder and CEO of iConclude, where he pioneered the IT runbook automation market and drove the company’s acquisition by Opsware for $62M in less than two years of inception. Gupta has also held various marketing and business development positions at many leading enterprise software companies including Mercury Interactive, Performant and Rational Software. In addition, Gupta co-founded Vigor Technology and has held product management and consulting roles at Easel Corporation and IBM.
“Sunny’s deep expertise in enterprise software and product management makes him a great asset to Integrien’s Strategic Advisory Board,” said Al Eisaian, CEO and Co-founder of Integrien. “His understanding of enterprise customer pain points will greatly assist us in addressing current and emerging challenges associated with ensuring the continuous availability of critical business services. Sunny’s presence as a strategic resource to the company will help us further bolster Alive’s market visibility and advance the innovation behind Alive, ultimately establishing Integrien’s analytics-based, probabilistic approach to systems management as the industry standard.”
“Throughout my career I have witnessed first-hand how data centers have grown more complex, making it much more difficult for companies to identify and resolve problems before business is impacted,” said Gupta. “With an innovative solution like Integrien Alive in place, organizations are able to make the shift from a time-consuming, reactive mode of IT operations to a proactive, probabilistic approach to managing critical business services, allowing the focus to remain on more productive activities that drive business results.”
