The TriZetto Group Inc. (NASDAQ: TZIX) today announced its selection of Eliza Corporation’s phone-based, speech-enabled outreach programs as an integrated part of TriZetto’s CareAdvance Enterprise care management application and Healthwise Smart Campaigns.
This combination will improve the way health information is delivered by payers to health plan members. By coupling Eliza’s interactive speech-enabled outreach with the automated care management services of the CareAdvance software, health plans can create a member experience that encourages targeted behavioral changes and helps lead to better health outcomes.
The CareAdvance application identifies and targets specific member populations, making relevant information and self-management tools available to these individuals. Smart Campaigns, jointly developed with Healthwise, address 14 of the highest-risk and costliest conditions and, through the CareAdvance software, guide the member through a variety of suggested actions and topics, step by step.
Through Eliza, the CareAdvance application will enhance the personalized support programs of payers on a number of health-related topics, chronic conditions and preventive tests including asthma, diabetes and flu shots. The member information learned during Eliza’s outreach will automatically populate into the CareAdvance software. The agreement between the two companies is another step toward TriZetto’s vision of Integrated Healthcare Management -- helping to optimize the coordination of benefits and care for healthcare consumers.
