UltraCell Corporation, a leading producer of reformed methanol fuel cells (RMFCs) for mobile power applications, today announced that it has named Keith Scott as its new chief executive officer and board member.
Scott brings more than 15 years of CEO experience to UltraCell. He has experience bringing new technologies to market and into mature manufacturing. Scott has served as CEO at Bindco Corporation, Metcal, Inc. and NHT. He has also held senior sales and marketing positions at Flextronics and Alien Technology, where he was responsible for developing and executing go-to-market plans.
Joining Scott as an addition to UltraCell's Board of Directors is Dr. Al S. Joseph. Dr. Joseph has more than 40 years of technology and senior management experience, founding companies Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation, Enhanced Energy Systems, Unitive Electronics, Inc. and Quad Design Ltd. Dr. Joseph serves as a director and part-time executive vice president of Tessera Technologies, Inc. and previously served as industry consultant and chairman of the board of Isothermal Systems Research, Inc., an advanced thermal management technology company.
