DefenseWeb Technologies, Inc., a premier custom software developer and systems integrator serving Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, has been awarded a multi-year contract to continue development of the MyArmyLifeToo Web portal (www.myarmylifetoo.com [1]).

DefenseWeb developed and has been maintaining all of the applications, features and functionality that currently comprise the MyArmyLifeToo online portal system since 1998. DefenseWeb successfully competed for the latest follow-on contract, which includes one base year and four option years.

Touted as the “Website of Choice for Army Families” and simulating an Army community, MyArmyLifeToo.com is an online information clearinghouse to support Army Soldiers and their families, including Active Duty, Reserve and Guard. The portal is maintained by the Army Headquarters Community and Family Support Center (CFSC) staff.

DefenseWeb CEO Douglas W. Burke said, “DefenseWeb has worked very closely with the Army to develop the MyArmyLifeToo Web portal into a content-rich, robust and interactive resource for staff, Soldiers and families. We are very proud of the Web system’s success and we look forward to working with CFSC staff to further develop the Web system to meet the ongoing needs of the Army.”

Under terms of the contract, DefenseWeb will provide:

• New custom applications and functionality for the portal.

• Web hosting and technical support for the MyArmyLifeToo Web portal.

• Maintenance support services to cover the nine (9) core programs of the Family Programs Directorate and the ten (10) topical areas of MyArmyLifeToo Web Portal System.

• A testing and deployment plan for the Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS), which will incorporate the approximately 95 ACS/Accessions Command locations.

• Training sessions for both CONUS and OCONUS installations.

Since 1998, DefenseWeb has successfully developed many information systems that support the CFSC and Army missions including the Army Community Service Staff Web system; the Virtual Family Readiness Group system; online training systems and courses for Rear Detachment Commanders, FRG leaders, and Army families; and the Client Tracking System case management system. DefenseWeb has also developed family program Web and case management systems for other Army organizations, including the Army Reserve and the National Guard Bureau.
