Digital Fountain, Inc., a leading provider of advanced standardized solutions for digital media delivery, today announced the appointment of David Warner as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Warner brings over 20 years of significant financial leadership experience with large and small, public and privately held, high growth technology companies to Digital Fountain, including senior financial positions at MontaVista Software and Sybase. He will assume responsibility for the company’s financial operations. This appointment further strengthens the management team as the company moves forward with strategic growth initiatives in its content delivery network (DF Splash), IPTV, Mobile, and Defense solutions.

Mr. Warner has more than two decades of financial experience in the software, systems, and technology industries, and a proven track record of building operations for high growth. Most recently he served as the CFO for MontaVista Software, where he raised $104M from leading venture capital firms and corporate investors such as U.S. Venture Partners, Alloy Ventures, Siemens, Sony, Panasonic, NTT DoCoMo and IBM. Prior to MontaVista, Warner was the CFO of The EC Company. Mr. Warner has also held various senior management and financial analyst positions at Electronics for Imaging, Sybase and Tandem Computers. He received his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles Graduate School of Management, and a BA from the University of California, Davis.
