Mocana Announces Date and Keynote for Mocana 360 Conference

Mocana today announced the autumn edition of the semi-annual Mocana 360 conference, which will take place on October 1, 2015 at the Park Central Hotel in San Francisco. This exclusive one-day event for Mocana customers, prospects, partners, analysts and market influencers will kick off with a keynote presentation by Andrew Toy, product management director for Android for Work at Google.

The event will also include numerous panels, presentations and discussions to provide attendees with opportunities to connect and discuss next-generation secure access, how enterprises are using Mocana Atlas to mobilize their data across laptops, mobile devices and wearables and the role of the Mocana Security of Things platform in increasing organizations’ assurance regarding the use of compute-enabled and connected things.

“Mocana 360 was launched a year ago with a vision of enabling a mobile-forward world and working together with our ecosystem to share ideas, strategies and experiences to tear down every impediment to mobilizing everything,” said James Isaacs, CEO at Mocana. “The success of our first two events has been overwhelming and the feedback extremely positive, and we are looking forward to the lively discussions we will have with the attendees at the conference.”

During the last Mocana 360, representatives of more than 50 global organizations discussed their mobilization experiences. A common theme throughout those discussions was that while controlling the device is important, it is clearly insufficient, and that taking a data-centric approach to mobile security delivers many benefits, including activating the extended enterprise and using a common mobile architecture to support both internal and external users.

The roster at the upcoming Mocana 360 includes top-flight representatives from America’s largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company, a leading global consumer products company, a large international insurance company, one of the largest electronic interconnector manufacturers in the world, and other global organizations.

Mocana 360 offers a full day of high-density agenda items focused on driving not just deployment, but genuine adoption of connected mobile apps. Those interested in attending Mocana 360 on October 1, 2015, can enquire about attendance at
